The project aims to help girls and young women, from rural areas or from families with both parents who are not graduates, to pursue a green career in the future labour market. In addition, the project will equip STEM teachers and VET trainers with training materials developed to support the provision of high quality learning opportunities in response to the needs of the future green labour market.

Expected results

  • Develop and provide innovative STEM education tools to inspire young women from rural areas or families with both parents who are not graduates to work in green jobs;
  • Develop SMM and green sustainability management competencies in young women from rural areas or families with both parents who are not graduates.
  • Build capacity for STEM teachers and VET trainers to apply the toolkit and SMM; starting with mapping STEM education and sustainability management in the context of creating green careers for girls and young women, this will be achieved by developing innovative tools to inspire girls and young women into green jobs, and piloting activities dedicated to testing the relevance of the training materials.
