On 25 and 26 November, AMUEBLA took part in the second transnational meeting of the GREENIFY project, held at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA) in Pisa. The meeting, which brought together the consortium partners (BCO, SFC and AB Corp), provided an opportunity to review the progress made during the first year of implementation and coordinate the work for the next phases.
During the working sessions, the WP2 assessment was presented, focusing on the preparation of national and European reports analysing the current situation of STEM and sustainability-related careers among girls and women in Spain, Bulgaria, Belgium and Italy. The initial progress of WP3, dedicated to the design of the toolkit and training materials aimed at both girls and women and teachers, was also examined.
With its sights set on the next stage, the consortium is now beginning preparations for the pilot project, which will validate the tools and resources developed. The meeting was notable for its high productivity, the alignment of strategies and the strengthening of cooperation between partners to advance towards a common goal: promoting green careers in rural areas and reducing the gender gap in STEM fields.
