Expected outcomes

• Creating an immersive VIRTUAL FAIR that will face the technological challenge of hosting up to 60,000 users through a software architecture in a one-week international fair with professionals all over the world.
• A modular design that will allow its replicability focused on other specialization areas of RIS3-MUR.

Applied to a virtual fair environment, this is a huge technological advance: technological innovations interoperability (multiplatform e-Commerce, 360° experiences, business analytics based on Big Data and IO, etc.) will be mandatory in the research for creating a platform for a virtual fair focused on the challenges of digitization in the habitat industry. This fair aims to position companies from the Region of Murcia in a competitive post-COVID world.

Funding

eMurcia project is funded by the Call for Public Subsidies for funding strategic projects considered in the Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation – RIS3MUR Strategy, from the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Regional Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment in the framework of the Operational Programme ERDF Region of Murcia 2014-2020 under the Thematic Objective 1. Strengthen research, technological development, and innovation by 80% and with CARM’s own funds by 20%.
