On 7 July, the Youth Vision Assembly was held in Yecla (Spain), a key event within the European SAGE project, which aims to empower young people to become responsible entrepreneurs committed to a socially sustainable vision of entrepreneurship.
During the event, 11 young people aged between 22 and 35 gathered to participate in an enriching space for dialogue, exchange and reflection on fundamental issues for the future of youth entrepreneurship. Among the issues addressed were the main barriers young people encounter when starting a business, the personal and collective motivations that drive entrepreneurship, and the importance of committing to a model of social and environmentally friendly entrepreneurship.
During an hour and a half of debates, participatory activities and open conversations, numerous ideas and proposals emerged on the role of young people in social and environmental responsibility, as well as on how entrepreneurial projects can actively contribute to improving society and the environment.
The conclusions drawn from this assembly will be compiled in a report that will soon be available to anyone interested in learning first-hand about the values, concerns, and aspirations of this new generation of entrepreneurs.
The organising team would like to sincerely thank all participants for their involvement. Their contributions were key to the success of the meeting and form the basis on which the SAGE project will continue to be built.
