AMUEBLA brings together the partners of the Open Feedback Culture project to work on pedagogy in business leadership

The partners of the European OPEN FEEDBACK project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, successfully held a productive transnational meeting in Yecla. The gathering combined strategic project management with an intensive and practical training session designed to improve the teaching skills of all partners. The ultimate goal of the project is to equip SMEs with the tools and knowledge to build psychologically safe work environments and foster a feedback culture based on the Growth Mindset, as well as to improve the skills of giving and receiving feedback constructively.

The core of the meeting was a specific training workshop lasting a day and a half with an eminently practical focus. Beyond theoretical discussions, the representatives of the partners actively participated in learning and mastering facilitation techniques essential for future courses aimed at companies. The training focused on:

Motivational introduction: partners learned dynamic methods to effectively increase participants’ interest and create an engaging learning environment from the outset.

Reflection exercises: designed to train partners in guiding students to reflect on the exercises, consolidating key lessons and extracting maximum educational value.

How to deal with resistance: a crucial part of the training provided partners with strategies and tools to constructively manage participant resistance, address scepticism, and foster a productive and cooperative learning environment.

The sessions were particularly valuable and directly applicable to the partners’ work.

In addition to skills training, the consortium conducted a comprehensive review of the overall development of the OPEN FEEDBACK project. Partners analysed progress against milestones, evaluated results achieved, and planned the next phases of work, expanding project promotion activities.

Members of the project partners travelled to Yecla: Globalnet sp. (Poland), the Portuguese Footwear Technology Centre, Obelisk (Spain), Edit Value, LDA (Portugal), and the Innovative Business Group of Furniture and Related Manufacturers of the Region of Murcia (Spain).

The consortium meeting concluded with a visit to the facilities of CETEM, the Furniture and Wood Technology Centre in the Region of Murcia, where partners were able to gain first-hand insight into the centre’s work on 3D printing, new sustainable materials and the introduction of sensors in furniture.

AMUEBLA acted as host partner, creating a collaborative and productive environment that was key to aligning partners and setting out a roadmap for the successful advancement of the project.
