After four years of work, this European Erasmus+ project comes to an end, making important contributions to the European woodworking and furniture sector and promoting excellence and innovation in Vocational Education and Training (VET). ALLVIEW has involved 21 partners from eight countries to address key challenges in the industry, such as the shortage of skilled labour and the need for sustainable practices.
A strategic approach to the sector’s challenges
ALLVIEW started with an in-depth analysis of the main challenges in the wood and furniture sector. Connecting VET providers, industry players, public administrations and Higher Education institutions, the project took a holistic approach. Universities contributed key technological innovations, complemented by VET initiatives and mobility programmes designed to equip people with relevant skills. Events and regional stakeholder groups fostered a holistic vision, ensuring that the results were sustainable and applicable at European level, while addressing the needs of the target groups.

Boosting recognition and innovation in VET
Through collaboration with VET authorities and policy makers, ALLVIEW established frameworks to ensure official recognition and validation of new curricula, which have been approved in several European countries, with more in the pipeline.
Guide for the implementation of EU VET policies: ALLVIEW developed a guide outlining best practices and tools for the implementation of European VET policies in the sector, including the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and micro-credentials.
