2nd Transnational Meeting of the PENELOPE Project: Boosting Gender Equality in European SMEs

In a joint effort to foster gender equality in the world of work and promote the active participation of women in European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the 2nd meeting of the PENELOPE project was held in Yecla, Murcia. The meeting served to present the practical toolkit designed to help European SMEs to integrate a gender perspective into their business operations and cultures.

The PENELOPE project, which is carried out with the financial support of the European Union, has as its main objective to develop, transfer and implement innovative strategies for gender mainstreaming in SMEs across Europe. This will be achieved through a cluster-based methodological approach, which aims to build business cultures that promote gender equality and give space to women at all levels of the work structure.
