ALLVIEW project attends the Vocational Excellence Forum 2023 in Amsterdam

ALLVIEW, an innovative platform for transnational cooperation in the wood and furniture sector, was present at the Vocational Excellence Forum 2023, an event of European relevance organised by Katapult, Tknika and the Community of Practice Centres of Vocational Excellence (CopCoves), with the support of the European Commission. This forum brought together centres of vocational excellence, education and training providers, governments and businesses to address current and future challenges in vocational education and training.

The Vocational Excellence Forum 2023, under the motto “Providing today’s talent with the skills to build a great tomorrow“, focused on key societal challenges, such as digitalisation, healthy ageing, climate and energy transition, and labour shortages, which require joint solutions and constant updating of job skills, common skills with the objectives of the ALLVIEW consortium.

The project, coordinated by CETEM, seeks to modernise education and vocational training in the wood and furniture sector. This CoVE has stood out as an example of collaboration and co-creation thanks to its platform, which connects partners at regional, national, and European level to address the changing needs of society and companies (including AMUEBLA).

During the event, visits were made to centres of excellence and discussions were held on the importance of updating curricula, including green and digital skills, and fostering transversal social and professional skills. Furthermore, the relevance of applied research and innovation in VET to support small and medium-sized enterprises and stimulate the green and digital transition in society was emphasised.

On the third day of the event, ALLVIEW project partners took the opportunity to meet at HMC’s premises in Amsterdam with members of the newly created impact committee. The meeting was very fruitful, and the members were very grateful to their hosts for this special occasion.

AMUEBLA, in addition to being responsible for the development of the training material and the MOOC platform, is also the vice-chair of the Impact Committee with the aim of enhancing the benefits of the main results obtained in each of the project target groups.

ALLVIEW will continue to work on its mission to promote excellence in vocational training and transnational collaboration in the wood and furniture sector, contributing to the development of relevant skills for society and companies in constant evolution.
