AMUEBLA attends the new transnational meeting of the ALLVIEW project in Barcelona

From 18 to 20 October 2023 took place in Barcelona a productive transnational meeting, organised by the AMBIT cluster, as part of the ALLVIEW project. This meeting brought together the 22 consortium members from 8 European countries to discuss the progress of this initiative coordinated by CETEM.

The first day of the transnational meeting featured an extensive programme, focusing on the key aspects of the nine work packages that make up this CoVE. On the second day of the meeting, consortium members had the unique opportunity to visit Interihotel, an international trade fair dedicated to hospitality design. Organised by the AMBIT cluster, this event offered an immersive experience of the latest trends and innovations in the sector.

The event brought together 175 exhibitors from 40 countries and included two round tables focused on fostering international collaborations in the field of education and innovation projects. These sessions included presentations, debates and Q&A sessions. María Sánchez, European project manager at CETEM and coordinator of the ALLVIEW project, was a speaker at one of the round tables where she was able to tell the experience of the centre in different international projects.

The knowledge and synergies generated during these days will undoubtedly contribute to achieve the implementation of the first European Dual VET Network of centres of vocational excellence in the furniture and wood sector; one of the main objectives of the ALLVIEW project.

The project ‘Alliance of Centres of Vocational Excellence in the Furniture and Wood Sector (ALLVIEW)’ is framed in the Erasmus+ KA3-CoVEs special call for the creation of vocational training centres of excellence and the development of skills ecosystems to increase the quality and adaptability of vocational training through the development of innovative curricula and teaching methodologies.

ALLVIEW connects CETEM/AMUEBLA with students, teachers and industry professionals across Europe. It also provides them with a large number of resources and training material on key topics for innovation in the sector (e.g. Industry 4.0, Circular Economy, CSR Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), etc.) and mobilities of students, teachers and workers are organised in different European countries. In short, ALLVIEW is an open network and a space for collaboration and excellence in the furniture sector.
